New Member - 04' LC!

First post,

Purchased my first 100 series yesterday and drove it back from CO to TX, only issue was a wondering oil pressure gauge (heard this was common?). I have been looking for the right LC for years and finally was able to pull the trigger to upgrade from my 03' 4runner (for sale now?).

The details:

2004
115k
Recent timing chain/water pump service
Recent OME 3'' lift
ARB up front

The not so good!

It seems like the inner boot of the drivers CV joint is leaking but that will have to wait.

All in all I am very happy with the rig, it has the goodies that i've alway wanted but never would have had the time to install.

You have timing belt. Not a timing chain.

CV boot leaking? Check out PFran clamps.

$30 fix.

Inner clamp included.

Thanks, I tried to edit that after I posted but didn't see the option. Does the CV boot come with the inner clamp? I will post of picture when I can of the condition.

You have options to reboot or to replace the entire axle. Not sure if reboot kit includes clamps. I would still go with PFran McMaster clamps imo.

$30 PFran clamp kit includes 10 clamps for inner and outer.
