I was searching for parts to do my disc brake conversion, and i ran across this on ebay:

eBay Motors: TOYOTA High Steer Steering Knuckles 6 stud Trail Gear (item 250327320354 end time Dec-17-08 09:34:16 PST)

Talking to the guys that make this, the knuckle is designed to work on Mini Trucks in the correct year range. Before I waste money on them, i wanted to get input for higher sources.

Depends on what you're wanting to do, those are made for SOA conversions where people are breaking knuckles. You're only going to be able to find high-steer arms for those, so keep that in mind if you're staying stock or have SUA lift springs.

If you're just looking for a disk conversion, I'd say find some used 40/60/mini bits for your '80. If you're planning on going hard-core, these are the shiznit for stock axles -

Yeah they're best wiith SOA - if you plan on that, then grab them and I'd go 4X4 Labs hi-steer arms/rods and execute SOA while you're at it, rather than take it all apart again........otherwise get you a set of 62 knuckles for next to nothing and do the same amount of work.
