they were a worn out old set of 33" Durangos that are now gone its got a set of 33" Archillies Desert Hawk XMT tyres on it now

Nice - and the rims? what specs? I just bought 285-75-16 BF Goodrich all terrain K02 for mine.

the rims are just plain steel 15x10 -44, I'm quite envious of those alloy rims you've got I'd love something like that on my truck I had some 15x10 alloys on it a few years back and now regret giving them to a mate thinking that I wouldn't want to use them again

Just keep an eye on those Gates belts in post#58 when you start running the Troopy. I put some Gates belts on my Troopy at the last belt change and they shredded like your old belts within 3,000km. Stuck some OEM belts on and 30,000km later they still look like new. So my Troopy definitely does not like Gates belts

Yup - mud, dirt, salt etc... That is very common here in the wet cold north and why every restoration here will take forever You will never find any car without rust. Not surface rust but real rust Now I am hoping that it is possible to buy some of these parts at Toyota! They are properly expensive like normal

The newly painted running boards are mounted and the rear fuelcover installed.

New tires arrived today - mounted one to the rim I have got to try out the macht of tires and bodycolor
