Gathering parts and pieces and have some questions.

1. What fluid? I converted from PS fluid to ATF so I could carry one less fluid type. Is ATF OK with HB?

2. Hoses. My steering box is an 800 series with internal flare fittings (not O-ring). My pump came with an O-ring outlet which I converted to internal flare. I still have the O-ring fitting so I could convert back.
I would prefer OE style hoses over spending gobs of money on AN fittings and SS hoses. Does anyone have part number for hoses that would work? Pump to HB and HB to gearbox.

Thanks.

Steve

Either fluid will work, I've run both at different times and am currently using PSF.

Factory 80 series PS pump use ATF but I don't like .. so I use AMS oil PS fluid, guess either work. PSC folks do not recommend ATF on their pumps, so another reason so switch over PS fluid ..

After reading every post I can find on the subject it seems there really is no one factory hose that would fit. Several posts suggested off the shelf hoses that could be modified, but none indicated an actual part number. I'll either go the route you listed or have custom hoses made at Napa or a local hydro shop.

Use the fluid that your pump specifies on the cap.

As for lines, you could spend an enormous amount of time finding a cable with the right ends only to realize that the length is wrong, or whatever. Use field serviceable fittings from PSC:

Hose Kits - Hose, Fittings & Seal Kits - Offroad Catalog - Motorsport Specific Products

field serviceable lines are a really, really nice thing..
