Just bought my first gx460!! 2010 onyx black with 120k. Got a pretty good deal $19k. Its super clean, an older couple owned it and kept in the garage. I'm happy to join the community and have many mods planned. I've ordered an f sport type grille from eBay for my first project. Lift, tires, roof rack, and Prado rocker panels planned in the future. Here's some pics, ain't she pretty!! (Pardon blocking the handicapped parking spot the lot was full and I pulled over really fast to snap a couple photos)

Drove my first 460 today. Goodness what an awesome ride. I am a big 470 guy but the 460 improves in so many ways....most notably the interior.

Very nice, can't wait to have my own. Anything planned for the first additions from the current condition?

Many many mods planned, yesterday I had LED's installed across the rig. They look great. I ordered an f sport grille, it has yet to come in. Suspension is soon to follow. I'm still in he research phase, but will most likely go the bilstein5100's route. I've had great experience with bilsteins on past rigs, and have seen a couple other gx's outfitted the same. However I may go a little more extreme. I'd like to remove running boards and replace with Prado rocker panels but it may be hard to source parts. Here's some after pics or LED's. So far I'm very pleased with the vehicle. I will update as mods get completed.

Nice. Someone here has done the Prado rocker panels with a little cutting IIRC, looked great to me assuming it's not being judged at the country club on Sundays. Would look much more complete with sliders as well I think, my own bias and thinking involved there ;)

Downtown, I see you are in funky town as well, which part? I dig your hidden wench, nicely done.

I live up north near the speedway. I have a buddy who just got a 460 after seeing mine, he lives out near Aledo. If your on Facebook you should check out Texas Overland. We are getting together next weekend April 6th for the annual Spring Round up. We all camp over the weekend and hangout maybe do a little exploring the area.

Thanks Hitchcrack, I'd love to link up with you guys sometime. after seeing your rig I may have to go the rock slider path, that looks great. Also where did you get your rain guards?

I ordered the ones from weather tech they are pain to install and the windows have some hesitation when you close them for the first few times but after that they seem to work.

@HitchCrack Are you still loving your SSO sliders? Any issues with them? Does the underlighting still turn on when you approach the vehicle?

Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

Nice! Welcome to the North Texas 460 family! Make sure to keep up with the GXOR and GXOR-TX facebook pages (if you aren't already there, which I am guessing you are). It's a small group but growing quickly.

Just a word of warning - stay away from HitchCrack; talking with or following him will make you want to spend all of your money on awesome mods :steer:

I do still love them! They are such great quality! I cut off the plug from the factory steps and have some rock lights that I want to install and connect to the original wiring. Its on the list of things that I still need to get done. All of the lighting still comes on it just does not illuminate user the doors of the truck like it does with the factory steps installed.
