I’m in North Jersey and have been lurking for about a year. Coming from the Ford Raptor world and honestly don’t know what took me so long. A close friend of mine finally convinced me to make the switch and I’m hooked. Been in the hunt now for an 80 series to build, hopefully can find the right one and start slow. Told myself I’d stay stock after going way deep down the rabbit hole with my 14 raptor…well, that promise went unkept but it’s been fun. It’s a 21 HE, OME BP51 suspension with OMe UCAs, spidertraxx spacers, harrop supercharger, LFD off-road cross rails, warn 12k platinum winch with SDHQ hidden mount, switch pros keypad with sdhq mount, dual Arb compressor w/slee mount, Baja designs foligjt replacements, and slee sliders. Cruiser Outfitteds, SDHQ, Harrop, Slee, ARB and Krazy House customs have been awesome and have gone above and beyond helping me get this done in fairly short order, all things considered.

I *think* I’m done but will likely be looking into a long range fuel tank in 2022. Glad I found this place and hope to learn a lot and see a ton of amazing rigs.

Welcome. Your first 200 post is a doozy :bounce:What adventures will you take with all that capability?

I’m hoping to at the very least hit the pine barrens and Rausch creek. I’ve got both in the raptors before but with the width, and longer wheel it wasn’t as enjoyable. Raptors are more fun in wide open space. Hopefully can hit some spots soon.

Bad ass.

What tune with the S/C?

Thanks! Stock tune, per harrop stock tune was fine with their stage 1 kit. So far, so good. Solid power, not overly aggressive but she gets up and goes. Very happy with how it turned out

Sign up for coal mine !

Need some details on this supercharging situation. How much faster are we talking? What if any hit to fuel economy?

I’ll have to get some 0-60 times and video. Seat of my pants increase is very noticeable, throttle response seems much improved. Shifting is smooth as it was stock, as is cabin noise, minus light sc whine. Fuel economy took a decent hit so far. I was averaging around 13.2 or so, I’m closer to about 10.5 now, which is leading me down the long range fuel tank path.

There is a lot of discussion about this setup in this section, including debate on harrop’s “no tune needed” stance and some great outcomes but also some not great install & support stories.

Tuning options vary widely depending on model year, with some fully tunable via HPTuners and later ones limited by what can be done using the stock file, as OP did.

End of day, adding over 25% more power will make for a formidable ride. Just understand that that comes with some significant range penalties and most likely some costs in overall drivetrain durability, though even that can likely depend on the tune used.

Great looking LC 200 , I’m in Pa / NJ line , looks a little too nice for the pines , I run the fire trails and parks with my 2020 LC 200 .
Pines fire tails and Coal hills in Pa are are not hard packed and these rigs don’t do very well , make sure you go with buddies and get your self a winch for the front and back .
LC 200 are great for out west over landing , we have way too much mud and slope , get your self a mud truck even if you have stupid money to blow , 200‘s will get thrashed big time .
I’m looking to pick up a flood 200 LC , must have 40’s around here IMOP
My old mud truck was a cummins powered Sub with 42’s

I’m hoping the stock tune will be enough and not cause too much headache with the blower. I know I talked potentially getting power numbers up down the line and Harrop, without much hesitation let me know that’s a rabbit hole I likely don’t want to go down. I’m happy with how it’s turned out in the relatively short time I’ve had it. I’ve had this same install shop since my raptor days so I trusted they’d do a fine job and didn’t disappoint.

I’m hoping durability doesn’t suffer too much but time will tell.

That’s an awesome rig. I pinstriped both my raptors in the pine barrens and banged the first one up pretty good at Rausch. So definitely agree, probably want to look for something dedicated for those areas. I’m in the process of hunting down an 80 series but seems I’m looking during a market high, which is the opposite of how it was when I found the 200…dealer just wanted it off their lot.

So I was lucky enough to find a 40th anniversary with roughly 155k miles on her. I’m having the 80 restored and am thinking about listing the 21 HE for sale (well, not much choice, wife says I don’t need two SUVs) but have no idea what a fair market price is given how all over the prices are. I’ve had reserve recommendations by Cars and Bids, Hemmings …I tried BaT but they wouldn’t take it, stating it was too new for their typical buyers and inventory. Those prices were different by 30k, so that didn’t help. I can’t post in classifieds since don’t post often enough but know if get some responses here. Anyhow, below is the mod list. I can post pics at some point as well. The 80 I purchased is below, im thrilled I was able to find her!
