Just picked up my LC100 yesterday from the dealer with a brand new set of front axle assembly, sway bar link bushings, shock absorber and retainer cushions.
The bottom chart shows before and after calibration of all four wheels. I was told they are not able to get the front driver side caster in "green." I don't understand why they can't make the proper adjustment. They gave me the print out sheet that marked "Front TOE" which I don't understand what's for because that's not my car, not sure what they are trying to tell me as I was told that's just a generic photo, was that instruction to the mechanic? I thought I heard there's no more "room" to turn and that's why that wheel is slightly out of spec. How can that be?
Car drives fine but I noticed the front driver tire is 1/2" higher than the rest when I did a quick check, is that something can be adjusted? Not sure if they touched torsion bar at all when replacing the axle assembly and whether or not that's what needs to be turned.
Lastly, does anyone know the part number of the missing small liner/panel rivets shown in the photo?

Look on the bright side. They didn't steal your oil filter cover/guard.

Those don’t appear to be Toyota CV axles that they installed.

Sounds like the driver side torsion bar needs to be adjusted down 1/2” to get the caster in spec.

REALLY?? They are a huge reputable Toyota dealer here, I just want to make sure I don't embarrass myself and create a scene that they lied to me that they installed a brand new set of OEM factory axles which I was told and paid for. I will be back anyways for the adjustment.
Thanks for the fender liner retainer info.

Please let me know how you can tell, this is now bothering me and they will see a really angry customer on Monday.

I'm doing a quick search and I do see lots of the OEM ones' with the yellow band, unless they do come in diff. color, I'm going to call the manager tomorrow, this is pissing me off!

Could Toyota changed the band over the years? I did some research , some say not all OEM's come in yellow bands...

All new OEM axles come with yellow bands on the outboard boot. All new OEM axles also have painted black tulips and center shaft. Yours have none of the above and will be brown with surface rust in short order.

Ok, so they freak'n outright LIED to me that's a grand new OEM!!!!!!!!! I will have a nice chat with the manager and regional Toyota office.

I wonder how do I go about with this? They verbally told me they are a pair of brand new OEM axles..and I told them the ones they are replacing were sold by another dealer about 3 years ago that's aftermarket but they told me up front and the difference in price. This is so pissing me off. Waste of my time and money.

You went to a dealer - what did you expect?

What does your receipt say?

Those are the "value line" Toyota axles.

They did not explain the difference between those parts and true OEM parts I bet and sold them as equivalents.

No they did not. I was told they are brand new OEM Toyota. I didn't even know such term "value line" existed. I just want to make sure I have a leg to stand on when I talk to the manager tomorrow. I don't want to embarrass myself if I don't get my side of the fact straight. All I can say is that no one told me (including parts dept) made me aware there's different "grades" of Toyota parts and they just put them on. So I want the genuine one and they need to eat and cost of reinstall. Is that fair? After all, all their paperwork are printed with "we use genuine Toyota parts" which doesn't mean crap now.

Ok, did another search and looks like this is a practice by Toyota. Going by the name of Cardone auto parts. They charged me $400 for the pair, looking around online the genuine OEM's can be had for around $460 at the lowest for a pair.
Do you guy think I have a good argument to have them eat the reinstallation cost if I supplied the real OEM ones? My last resort is to bring this up to Toyota Corp. I'm upset because they did not make me aware there's such second grade parts!
This is a photo I found someone posted.
