This has been on my list of things to get working on....finally tackled it. I'll be working over the next week or so to track down all the 60/62 threads and get them relocated...if you spot something specific, PM me with the link and I'll get it relocated...hopefully we catch most of them!!

Believe I got all the FAQ links corrected and moved...I hope...

Will keep chipping away at the rest of them...tho, I plan to quit if I hit 500 threads...lol

I like the new 60/2 section, but...........40's and 60s share alot of common items(well at least the motor and trany) that I almost kinda sorta maybe think they should be left in the cruiser tech section.

now I will say that having a 3fe section might make some sense, IMOP the yahoo 3fe list is great but using Yahoo sucks, I would imagine most the 3fe'iers would welcome the move to ih8mud........at least I would..........just a thought, seems like there is no real good spot on i8hmud where the 3fe gets much tech, 80 series just kinda ignores the 3fe.

how about a fj45LV section? ;)

and yes.......when do I get my own forum :D

I second Landpimp's comments. Fortys and 60s (and 55s) share so much, separating the forums makes one a bit less likely to venture out to the other forum. For instance, there are those on the 80 forum that never get to the 40/60 tech and vice versa. In their case it is understood because the vehicles are fairly different. But by separating the 40s and 60s, we might miss each other opinions.

But as long as you separate the forums, I vote for a J75 forum . . . :D

I think its cool that we have our own section now but... I think it would have been better to just create a 3fe section. Its all good though :D

My vote? a 3FE FAQ master....anyone interested?

The decision was based on body style. 60/62 are very similar, 80 is it's own, as is the 100. 25/40/45 are "the same" and the 55 runs thru a very similar timeline.

Unfortunately, not everyone knows their motor is a 3FE, just what the body style is. (and some don't even know that...lol)

Woody, sometimes I wonder if you're doing what my junior high teacher used to do--make the bad kids sit on opposite sides of the room. :D Divide and conquer!

Heh heh, Mike S. told me he forwarded on the comments I made to him, hadn't even looked at what was said here, turns out there's some common themes.

Jeez, what to do, what to do. Well, whatever you do, don't lump us together with those Leatherique folks on the 80s list! :D

A great board, no matter how you slice it.

it was interesting...when the old SOR forum closed and everyone moved here, people begged for their own personal section.

I've relocated over 200 threads from just the past 6 months, and expect that number to quickly double as I find more time.

can't wait to see the discussions when I install new forum software....

This is a great idea, I no longer have to wade through 40 series related crap. :flipoff2: :D

hey, I resemble that! :flipoff2:

its ok woody just let it go... we all know ya want a surf wagon to carry all the hunnies around.. :)

Thanks Woody for our own well deserved wagon section. You have now put us 60 (62) owners on the map. We are no longer step children of the 40 group.
After owning my 60 for 20 years I am proud we can stand alone.
But now I have to visit both forums and post on both because there are some really knowlegable people on the other side.
Keep up the good work!
Wagons unite.
