Hey Guys,

New to the forum, been browsing and searching around for about a year know familiarizing myself to cruisers. Finally got my first one last week and I cannot begin to tell you how much I love it. It is an 88 that I bought from the original husband and wife owners with 192k miles. In the last couple days I have installed a new stereo and put new tires on it. Very happy with how it sits now, feel like it needs a few more things and it will be perfect for me.

I look forward to spending more time here, furthering my urge to modify and upgrade parts.

You poor soul. I feel for you as I am also cursed with this sickness. The ideas and upgrades are endless. MY first suggestion is to find a local support group to help with your problem.

-ps. great looking truck

great looking truck. I really like that color. looks like you are in Oregon? can't get a good look but it looks like and OR plate.

Love it! I'm a nOOb myself around here. Just trying to make my way in the dark forest of cruizer addiction.

What size tires are those? And is that on the stock suspension? I think I want to go bigger than 32's? I have a stock 62 as well and its rad! just turned over to 229K on the original engine!

Thanks guys.

I am located in portland for the time being but will be taking her down to SoCal later this month for school. Looking forward to the drive down, may try to make a few fun detours.

Just for others info since it is asked so often and I know cause I did a lot of searching but the tires are 33x10.5 BFG MT on a stock suspension.

Beautiful. That thing is minty fresh.

Post more pics.

Clean truck!! welcome to the best community on the internet.

I bought it as my daily. Wouldnt mind putting another 100k on it myself.

Welcome Sam!!
Nice rig, good choice on the tires!

Welcome aboard, nice looking rig! I see a couple of ripples, but none of that damn rust.

That suspension must be in good shape! I thought those tires were 31's!

Yeah it is by no means perfect, the other side has a little spot of po tree rub but nothing too bad. I didnt buy this truck with the intention of it being a beauty queen, I cant say I bought it to be a gnarly off road machine either. Just wanted an good reliable truck that can accomplish any normal terrain. If I spend much more time here though I know that will change.

I should have another update of work done tomorrow I hope.

I won't show you a recent photo of my truck, but trust me, your's is in good shape.

are you sure that is the stock suspension? I have never seen 33s fit that good on stock springs, they look to have a decent amount of arch to them as well. You may have scored a already lifted truck without knowing it. Anyway, it looks really nice and i know your going to love it.

Welcome!

Nice rig! You know, that complex looks familiar. That's not in the NW section is it?
