I've met one or two of you on the trail, and looking forward to more often and also next meet-n-greet-n-beer event (I love all those "ee" words esp the last one). I picked up my 94 FZJ80 on a sled lot on S Craycroft a year ago when I was hankering for a ride that would get me back in to archery elk camp in the Tonto National Forest (FS132D IIRC, into Newman Canyon N of Mormon Lake). I believe it had been used primarily as a trailer hauler up until now, all in the SW. No MX records (wince), but also no rust. I'm doing my best on my middle class budget to baseline maintenance and still get some trail rides in--I drove it to CO and back this summer so it is certainly roadworthy but leaks a lot of oil plus CEL and I'm sitting on the parts to address both.
