Hello'

I recently bought an 81' BJ-42 Diesel Hardtop, been working like mad on her, trying to get everything operational (just got my speedo working, two weeks after i put it on the road >_>). Anyway, I work as a full time Mechanic at Canadian Tire, Duncan. I 'm just getting into the offroad world after a bad motorcycle accident nearly killled me (got the scars and crippled leg to prove it'). I live up the highway from chemainus, near a landmark known as "Jerry's Diner". I met a guy in Duncan yesterday with a huge green Diesel Cruiser with an interesting military like canopy thing on the back, he recommended me here. I have my CB installed, if anyone's local, let me know what channels are used around here.

Cheers

heh, it's not that huge, it's the honda civics in the parking lots that give a skewed perspective.....:grinpimp:

I'll probably drop by tomorrow after 5 if that ok for you, Those springs are needed badly, i had the rig inspected this morning at "Island Springs", 5 broken leaves and the main one on the pass side is bent (I wondered why i was pulling to the right >_> )

see ya then, if it's a bad time, give me a call 710-9689

welcome to mud hope to see you out this fall.

Mate, your place, is nothing short of...epic...to say the least, I'll be taking some of the stuff off of you for sure, I can say with certainty (And the woman's approval) that i'll be after all the armor you have, bumpers, roll bars and that really nifty tire saddle (With surfboard adapter;)) and surely those 70 springs, (We figure they'll fit on my BJ, hehe), and any other buried treasure you may have:D

Cheers

Welcome Craig, I spotted the cruiser in the CT parking lot last week but didn't have time to check it out. I'm just up the highway in Ladysmith.

P.S. a big guy in a tiny VW pulled up to me at CT the other day and tried to buy my BJ for $7000, >_>

......sure......NO!... :)
