So I've been away from Toyota builds for a couple of years but I have some big plans for this 96' LX. It doesn't have lockers but it's clean and a pretty good rust free example. I've got an OME j lift front and 2.5 rear setup coming as well as an ARB front bumper with winch. Tires just arrived. A steal on tire rack for $162 each for the old style Yokohama Geolandar Mudder in 315 flavor.

I live in Cumming and you can find me on my bike at the Chicopee Woods trail in Gainesville or Blankets Creek in Holly Springs. The sunset pic is from the top of Blood Mtn last week backpacking. I look forward to seeing some of you guys around.

Welcome! You had a green 100 before this right? I'm overseas atm but when March rolls around feel free to message me for a meet and greet. I'm from Fayette Co

Yep the green 100 was a nice truck. Sold to a Mudder in Arizona too!

Trucking company is delivering the ARB bumper tomorrow and I'm going to be bringing home a Warn M12000 too!!!!!!! Can't wait to get it going so I started disassembly tonight.

Here's my old truck. Memories of this rig brought me back to a cruiser.

This "new" project is a heck of a lot better color, that's for sure! lol
Curious to see them 37's with 2.5" of lift. Good luck!

I never knew what that thing on the front of the ARB was for that you bolted the roller fairlead to. Learn something every day. @StucknKS

The lift should be 3.5" in front with J springs and 2.5" in the unweighted rear (no third row and no aftermarket rear bumper) for now. The tires are just 35's so it should fit pretty well. Talked to Christo yesterday at Slee and they were great to work with as always. I have some caster plates, front bump stops and front sway bar spacers sent this way.

Nice! Didnt you say your putting 315's on it? 315's come out to 37" I believe, while 305's convert closer to 35's. IDK, either way it's a nice rig.... enjoy it!

Nice, I live up in "North Metro Atlanta" too. Mean Green sounded like a military thing until I saw the picture of your 100.

Your math is off. 315 is 35 inch tire. 305 is a 33 inch tire.

I stand corrected. But a 315 is 34.6" tall, while a 305 is 34" tall, I thought there was a bigger "jump" in p-metric sizes. Learn something new everyday! Actually a 285 measures same height as a 33".

Well I've been am armed professional both Army and LE for almost 30 years so.... it may still fit

I was in the green machine too! The other green machine though.

Nice work so far on your rig. I love these things so much!

Only in this case, the 305 is 70% sidewall, unlike the 315 and 285 that have 75% sidewalls. Therefore, 305/70 16 is still a 33", same as 285, just wider contact patch (305mm vs 285) :)

On topic, great selection of the gear! Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Looking forward to seeing your updates. I got the same color combo. Still deciding if I want to run stock or after market wheels on it

What are you doing with your stock bumper? I'm located in bham and mine in pretty smashed up and I am looking for something to replace it until I can afford a nice ARB. Just shoot me a message if you are getting rid of it.
