No, we're not having another baby...

But you'll see this little guy out with us in the future. Beagle mix, and we haven't settled on a name yet... I'm saying Ranger or Scout, Heather is leaning to Porter, Lily agres with anything we throw out and Ella just says "Puppy"...

Look at that guy!! Beautiful pup.

Where'd you get him?

He was surrendered to the Holly Springs PD, and the Animal Control Officer took him to the Wake County Animal Shelter. The shelter workers told the officer that if they took him, he'd automatically be euthanized becuase of the current number of animals at the shelter.

The officer brought him back, and the lady who coordinates the 911 calls took him in as a foster. But she couldn't keep him, so offered him up to anyone in Holly Springs Town Hall, and Heather was the first to respond. So he came home with her last night, followed the girls everywhere in the yard.

Well I'm glad that Heather found him then!! Have any idea how old he is? Looks like a bundle of energy :D

By Wake County Animal Shelter, do you mean the Wake County SPCA? I ask because we got Leucas from the SPCA and they were specifically a no-kill shelter.

Holy Mary Mother of Cuteness! Congrats!

Hey Brian, Porter? or Water? ;-)

Love him and the names...such a cutie! Lily was talking about missing out on getting that one pup on the trip so I am glad you guys found one!

Two things about that picture:
1. Cute puppy
2. That's probably the last time you'll want to show anybody the carpet.

Not our carpet in the picture, but about the same color. And, yes with Lily and Ella, most of the carpet already needs to be replaced!

Unless Terry can work some magic!

The one off of Tryon road? Damn, and I was donating stuff there too since they treated us so well

Looks like I'll have to make a trip down to get some clarification. I was under the impression that if they were full, that the dogs would be moved around to another shelter.

In any case, beautiful pup!

Even though we addressed this through email, the Wake County Animal Shelter (for everyone else wondering) is off 64 near the hospital, not the Wake County ASPCA...

And I think we're leaning to Porter as the name..
