New 2014 200 on the way

Hi all,just ordered a new to us 2014 200 from Carmax.It's got 32k miles and on its way from Miami,Fl.We got our last 2004 100 from Carmax and it came from Austin,Tx.So a good buying experience with no haggle prices.we should expect delivery in less than a month.So excited about the new truck I just had to share the good news with my Land Cruiser family.I will be sure to post up pics soon. I know it's going to be a solid truck.

Nice low mileage find. Hopefully no water issues from the hurricanes this summer. If the carfax is clean sounds like a winner!

Hey yea it all checks out clean carfax as carmax is a reputable dealer.But yes we were worried about that too.Not sure how anyone would get it back to new looking after flood damage and not report it? I will definitely crawl underneath look it over good on our walk through and test drive.It is a very low mileage cruiser!

Carmax often buys vehicles at auction just like every other dealer. Depends on the damage, but if the carfax is clean I wouldn't worry. I bought my 2013 from Autonation, shipped to Chicago from Houston about 6 months after the flooding in summer 2015. The vehicle is new enough that if it was flood damaged it would end up on an insurance report since the owner would have had full coverage (required by the bank). IIRC Carmax guarantees against vehicles being flood/salvage/etc anyway.

Ok I'll spill it! 56.9k !! So they took it off the carmax website soon after we committed to shipping and that was 1100 from FL to Bay Area,Ca.There is a new Carmax by the San Jose airport.So its only 40 min from us(with no Bay Area traffic!)So it will be hard to wait for new truck.Merry Christmas to my wife she will be driving it! My 17 year old son gets 04 100hundy nice 1st car for a teenager!

Hi all,we just took delivery of our new to us 2014 last night.My wife drove it home in the dark in commute traffic to the mountain back roads.She followed me in my 16 Tacoma.Very dark and the new cruiser lit it up nice.So I'll try and get some pics up soon.Very nice truck and went smooth at dealership.

Side note: it wouldn't have left the lot with that Carmax sticker on the tailgate if it were me. I always write on every contract in big letters: "All dealership logos, badges, stickers, license plate trim rings, etc to be removed from vehicle prior to final delivery."

Should be able to get it off with a hair dryer.

Hey Thanks! And yes I agree on the logo sticker&plate frame I removed after I took pics! The little carmax logo sticker has to go! We talked about it at dealer and they said they'd remove it.We ended up rushing them to get deal done as it was getting dark so I'll just handle it.

Hey thanks! Truck has around 32k so it's just like new to me! We just got back from 1st road trip up to San Francisco to see Christmas lights around Union Square.Cruiser handles real nice and so much power to spare.Took Hwy 1 up the coast on way up and it was a beautiful drive.I should have stopped to take some scenic pics to post up!

I paid $55 for my ‘14 that came with 38k back in August. Though it needed new tires and rotors turned. So you got a good deal with those lower miles!

I paid $65k for my 15 LX CPO with 17k miles in July of this year. It was the grey exterior over black interior color I love on a 200 series plus came with 4 years unlimited mileage bumper to bumper warranty and 2 years of maintance and was a Florida vehicle with a clean carfax. Plus it was the last year of the 2013-15 models which I think are the best looking years for the LX570's. Like most vehicles these beasts are worth a lot more when you buy them then when you sell them . Again congrats on your new beast.

Thanks for the info,I removed carmax sticker easily with a quick hit w hair dryer and some goof off!
