Good evening guys, I just wanted to ask if someone knows where I can get knuckles rebuilt for a reasonable price? Are there rebuild kits and where can I get them if so?

You can get the correct parts at a good price from Dan at American Toyota on Alameda and I-25...ask for the MUD discount and they will get you a good deal on everything you need.

You will need the regular rebuild kit with gaskets, seals, bearings, as well as the manual hub rebuild kit as well. Make sure you get both.

Cheers.

Knuckles are one place where I would go aftermarket (sorry Dan). Sources, in no order:

Marline Crawler
All Pro Offroad
Trail-Gear

Personally I would go with the kit from Marlin just for his inner axle seal.

Is that inner seal available for the Land Cruiser Jon?

I was working under the assumption that these seals were for the minitruck/4runner applications, though maybe they would fit a 60 series....how about an 80 series? ;)

Don't know myself....

MC-12149, Heavy Duty Front Inner Axle Seal, $7.49

Here is the info from Marlins web page. I used the rebuild kit from Cruiser Outfittters and bought the Marlin seals on there own.

(sorry Dan).

Not likely............

For reference, OEM bits, with trunion bearings, run ~225 bucks.

Oh,

At 4:30 on Saturday afternoon, individual bits that were not in the aftermarket grab bag are priced accordingly........

On Sunday they can be scary.......................

I have no idea what you are talking about.

BTW, one little tip. I've always had a problem with the hub gasket, and the hub cover gasket leaking after awhile. A little RTV will solve that problem.

Thanks for the Marlin info...so this guy can use these on his 60 series if he wants....

Too bad I can't use them for my 80...Marlin has always made good stuff.
