I converted my fj62 power windows to manuals complete with fj60 inner door panels, so all the switches are gone.

I like the power door locks and kept all that in place, I'm just not sure how to get a switch wired up. The goal is to put a switch in a dash blank to the left of the steering wheel. The lock switch on the master switch panel is not exactly removable since it's molded in as part if the plastic housing.

Anyone know of an OEM option that would work here?? It's a "return to center" type of switch. Any aftermarket options that could be wired up??

Let me know if you think of something.

My HJ60 came original with power door locks and with manual windows.
There is an oem switch in the driver side door that works the way you want it.

Might be a little electrical work to connect the original wires(4) to your setup, but basicly its has the same function as your original doorlock switch.

Here´s the link to the OEM partnumber http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_1987_TOYOTA_LAND+CRUISER_HJ60LG-MW_8401.9.html

Don´t know if it can be ordered new.

Did a cross reference with the part number 84930-90A02-03 (gray colour),and found it was only used on landcruiser models.

Part 84930-90A02-03 (SWITCH ASSY, DOOR CONTROL) was found on the following models: Market Date range Model Frames/Options Found in diagram Japan 08/1980-07/1987 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER BJ6*,FJ6*,HJ6*84-01: SWITCH & RELAY
Japan 08/1987-12/1989 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ6*,HJ6*84-01: SWITCH & RELAY
Europe, General 08/1980-07/1987 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER BJ60,HJ6*,FJ6*84-01: SWITCH & RELAY

Definitly not a USA option but maybe someone is parting out a JDM cruiser over there.....that could be an option.;)

Just buy a good alarm and use the remote to lock/unlock.
