Wow $194 & some change+free shipping !! Great price,thanks for the reply.

That's the one I just bought. Seems heavy and quality. The only thing you might want to address is the drain cock. It is just a plastic plug and not very accessible when installed on a 40. No extension on it. I have not done the swap yet, so I don't know if the one off my current radiator will fit.

X3. Nice quality. Shipping is fast. Seems to be holding up fine after a year.

Yes, the drain doesn't have the extension tube on it like an OE rad and the plug is plastic but I found it to be easily accessable with pliers. Or just disconnect the bottom hose to drain. Non issue to me. The only issues I encountered were the side mounting flanges both came off soon after installing from s***ty soldering. No biggie, though. I resoldered myself and never became an issue again in several years' use. Also doesn't come with a cap as I recall but one can source that anywhere and are inexpensive.

I just replaced the radiator in my 1980.

I made a little tool to open the drain cock, by taking a piece of PVC sch 40 pipe about 4" - 6" inches long. In one end I cut a slit with the cutting wheel of my angle grinder (the slit is cut as if cutting the pipe length wise). In the other end I drilled a hole all the way through both sides, big enough to slide in a phillips screw driver.

I can push the pipe up through the skid plates & etc so thet the "wings" on the plastice plug fit into the slit. On the other end I slide a screw driver through and turn

Same can be done for brass plugs except use a grinding wheel to make the slit wider. It actually works better on the brass drain cocks because the PVC pipe captures the coolant better and neatly directs it into a bucket

The new radiator had the plastic drain cock.
