Need Mechanic near Lake Norman / Mooresville ... Drivetrain locked up on FJ80

Hello, I have an fj80 near Lake Norman that I need to get towed to a knowledgeable mechanic in the Lake Norman / Mooresville area... or Charlotte. The Cruiser “shuddered” a few times leaving s restaraunt a few miles away... In the morning I got out of the driveway and it started binding up. Eventually it quit freely rolling, regardless of gear.

The problem is the same whether the CDL light is on or not. I just had an OME 2” lift installed a couple weeks ago. The birfs were clicking prior, and I was going to have a pm done on the front axle.

At this point I just need it towed somewhere familiar with theses models and fixed. I’m crazy busy with work right now, and all my tools are two hours away at another place. I also use the Cruiser this time of year to haul prototypes for work, so I’m trying to get it back on the road as soon as possible, vs. learning how to fix it (which I enjoy and usually do, it’s just bad work timing)

Please recommend any shops that are good with drivetrain issues in this area.

Yarborough Automotive in Denver NC is who I take my stuff to when I can't handle it. They are a generic shop as far as model/make but might be able to help you. If they can't handle it they can recommend someone who can.
