I live in probably the saltiest area in the province right near a steep hill that is heavily salted 5 months per year, so I know about rust first hand.
I have used McGards with great success. These lug nuts are more expensive than others, but they don't rust. When I say hardly, I mean than any staining that can happen (yes, where I live even SS can get stains, fortunately easy to rub off), it is easy to take off with a bit of hand polishing. Be carfeul, though: you can get them rusted if you let a fool fit an oversize socket on them. I have found that the best socket to use is the old spark plug socket (13/16). Perfect, tight fit = no damage if used with an impact wrench. And if you use a regular wrench and a torque wrench, there should be no reason for them to rust at all.
They are tripple chromed and are guaranteed for life. Be prepared to shell out about $4 per nut, however (probably less than half the price in the US, though

). They usually come in packs of 4.
The set I have on my old 60 are now 6 years old and they still look great. I have some that are over 10 years old that I replaced but still have for spares, that got esthetically damaged a bit from use with a bad socket, there is a bit of staining at the rounded corners, but no flaking at all.
In our backwards parts, they are actually kept in locked cabinets at Canadian Tire.
