I would any other weekend but I am hosting a birthday bbq/dinner for a friend of mine. I MIGHT be able to help you out on sunday, but chances are slim. If you are available during the week I have tuesday and thursday pretty open until around noon. Or I may be able to help you if you want to wait until next weekend.

I got the sliders put on this evening! Very easy install. Took a little while to do it solo but not too bad.
I still have to trim the front mudflaps to fit but that can wait.

I like my Metal Tech sliders. They look like good and are functional as a step too.

I saved the purchase price in body work alone on the SoCal80's trail ride a few weeks ago. They are very well built and installed easily. They take some serious abuse too! I have to touch mine up after some rocks on the trail took off the powder coating in spots.

I have seen Slee's sliders on another 80 mall cruiser. They looked good but I have not seen them on the trail though.

i assume they could be welded to the frame and eliminate the u-bolts?

what was the shipping cost?

I had mine shipped to Saia (spelling?) on Miramar and it ws around $115 if I remember right. If you take your cruiser to pick them up make sure you take a good socket set with you as they were bolted to the pallet really well and the shipping place wasn't much help as far as tools go.

x2 on that. Take tools and a shipping blanket to keep them from rattling in the back of truck.

& yes they could be welded but that would be a PITA if you had to do any exhaust work
