Man i hate living in an apt. I don't have a garage anymore and I can't have my dog with me either. I need to move somewhere with a garage and a yard. Anyone need a room mate?"
Are you serious? I'm getting ready to sell my house 'cuz it is just too darn much house for me. A cruiser roomate would be an alternative. It's a big house, big yard and 3 car garage. if interested send me a PM.
Carl
F*** Still no go. Needs carb rebuild and new exhaust/intake gasket. Anyone wanna truck???
So is all your smog stuff hooked up right do you know?
Do you have the Emissions Control Manual?
Howdy! Did you ever post up the smog numbers from the failed test? What "shop" did you take it to? There are very few that know what they are looking at on a 25 year old Toyota. John
You know what I did when I needed to pass emissions. I bought my 60 and it had been sitting for two years at the side of this guys house. It had 230,000 miles on it. I limped it home, replaced the fuel pump, ran like 5 cans of seafoam through the thing then went and tested it. It passed. I'm actually a believer in that seafoam. Seemed to work for me.
Howdy! Is that failing at idle or running? Makes a big difference in what I would recommend. Those numbers are so close it could be just a 1/4 turn on an idle screw. JohnI'm only blowing about 10 points high on both HC and CO now. And the truck is running like crap. I know I need to get the carb re-built and I am looking to borrow a carb from a friend with a slightly older (81) cruiser. Just to get it to pass emissions. His carb does not have the milage that mine does.
