Hello, Minitruck and 4Runner forum... FJ40 guy visiting here....

Need your help. I want to clean up knuckles and replace my brake hoses. However, I'm having a heck of a time figuring out the year of my setup. The driver-side J hook has been cut by the PO and all pictures point to maybe an 84 Minitruck. I am not 100% certain, though.

Regarding the brake hoses, they are female on both sides. Does anyone have a part number for some OEM lines? Or should I go stainless?

I should note I replaced the TREs with ones from an FJ40. I needed a cone shim.

Thanks all!
Josh

I don't have part numbers for OEM brake hoses, but I bet the dealer would. You can also go to Rockauto.com and get hoses. Use the MUD 5% Discount Code: BD69E1E4B138DA, Expires: October 14, 2022.

FJ60, minitruck, and most FJ40 knuckles are all the same. As I recall early knuckles on the FJ40 might be different. The steering arms are different between the three.

If you visit one of the online Toyota parts dealers you can look up the part numbers. Examples:
