Need help - 1kz-te won't start

Hi Guys.

Here is the situation;
I am on a way to a junction and then suddenly the engine stops. I start the engine again and I drive for about 70 meters then it stopped again. I called a mechanic and found out the there is no current flows to the fuel pump - the is no fuel injected to the engine.

They have checked the wiring system until they reached the Engine Control (electric control unit?). This is new to the mechanic and they have no idea how to figure out then.

Help me to figure out the problem please...

Find A ecu repair shop they can. Be repaired. mine just been repaired


Find one for sale so u have a spare.

For you the easiest place to find would be the big chop shop just outside of Kota Kinabalu.

Hi,
where in sabah are you?
go to any workshop in KK and they will tell you where to go or where the chopshops are.
Whenever l go to M'sia,l always try to go to those chopshops just to droolover all the parts and halfcuts that they have sitting there.

Hi.

I'm at north part of sabah. I have no time to be in KK searching for the ecu. The ecu now sent to KK for repair. hopefully next week i can try to start my engine.

Anyway, should the engine fail to start, I will try to search it at KK myself.

How much is a 1990 HDJ81 or 89 Hj60 or 61 worth nowadays in Sabah and Sarawak?
l plan one day to visit Malaysia, drive from Kuching to Sabah,either buy a vehicle or rent one.
l have driven from Limbang to KK about 8 eight years ago.

hi,i am pretty sure ,your problems are not the ECU, check the (EFI-fuel pump) sensors for all the value.you can get infos from UMW parts dept located in INANAM just pass the inanam bridge from kk ,on the left. i have fixed couple of them here & every single one end up sensors problems & nothing else. OR i will post those sensor value tomorrow,ok. then you figure them out with yours.
