Hey guys,

I'm looking for an FJ25 owner, or someone who has access to one. My personal project, ToyotaReference.com, is getting closer to being done (if that is ever possible) and I need to make a sideview illustration of an FJ25.

Here are the specs of the photo that I need:

Gotta love Google images...
EDIT: I just read your picture specs and this one doesn't quite meet it..sorry.

JohnnyC located this image for me:

...but the resolution is kind of low. I'd like something larger.

Let me know if you can help.

Check out the side views of my 1960 FJ25 on the Bubba's 1960 FJ25
thread and see if any of those can help you, if they do you can simply download them from the site. Rick

I would offer to take some pictures of my white FJ25. Could put the factory wheels and bumper on it. But this should really be a picture of fox's FJ25 with the fatory top on it. Now if you guys back east wants to send Phil's original back to him thru Phoenix I could get you some nice shots. Maybe find somewhere here to make some cheaper quality repo tops while it's here. But in all honesty the picture should have the factory soft top on it. That's what set the FJ25 and early FJ40 apart from the FJ40 of later years. That and the grill. But a side picture won't show that. I didn't forget the wheel well openings but we all know now those came out in the FJ40's into 1963:rolleyes: So does Mike or Jim have a set of original doors with the factory skin still on?

Bubba, those pics are SO close to what I need, but they aren't dead-on perfect from the side to the resulting illustration will be a little distorted. Shoot!

I think someone is going to need to take a photo specifically for this project. It would be nice to have a top and doors on the truck, but I'm not going to get super picky as long as I get the right angle.

Whoever sends me the pic will get a nice high-res image of their truck from me, to use as they wish.

Darren,
Here's the early hubcaps on 25 wheels to complete your illustration, my dented one straight on and John#1's straight one from an angle. Don't forget that single oval hole in the rim at the valve stem....................peculiar to the 25! :)
