Need an 80

My friend Richard has finally sold the Jeep is headed towards the light!

He needs help finding a good 80 or 450. He's in winston, so about 100 miles in any direction and he can go look at it.

Give us some parameters of exactly what he is looking for....or too really get him moving in the right directions get him signed up on the mud forum, let him spend a little time doing some reasearch on exactly what he wants....

Well, I would say he's looking for something local, straight, needs the third row, and diff locks would be nice. Needs to be somewhat presentable for work use, but some mods okay as long as they aren't monster truck based. He has found a few under 170k miles, but the price needs to be $7k or less. I have seen a few on here that are close to that....just wondering if there are any people have seen for sale that aren't posted on here.

Hello rutbeer, don't know this guy or the truck but found this on CL. 96 with 140k and he's asking 5800. Looks stock and clean from the pix on the ad.

the red one is for 5K with the extras slee sliders, t-case protection, rear bumper and a few others or 3K without the extras.... I believe he is going to trad his white 40 and white 80 for tiredirons portaled 80... so he won't need the red one anymore and maybe will sell it for even less

Well, he looked at an LX450 that was pretty nice, but wound up with a 2000 100 series instead.
It's just hard to believe how cheap the big wagons have become, I can't say I blame him. Oh well, way better than a J**p!!!!

Hey, there is a whole discussion about me and I didn't know it! Thanks guys for keeping an eye out. I did succumb to the luxo ride of the 100. Miles are high, but rutbeer swears I will get 300k before I have to change the oil. I'm pretty psyched, wanted a LC since high school. Now I just need to sell some blood to pay rutbeer to make me some sliders or swap a diesel in.....

I couldn't do that to him....we wouldn't want to spoil him with double the fuel mileage.
Now...who has an ARB for front of this and a tire carrier for the rear. We have to cover the bling on that thing.

Exactly, I gots no money now. But at least work is steady....nevermind, I just remembered I am a home builder. I do need to de-bling it a little though, how much for some East Coast Pinstriping?
