I've received a couple of emails from Mike at BIOR to coordinate shipping! Soon I'll be the only 100 on MUD with a rear and no front!

I'll be right there with you. IMO it is more important. the approach angle on a 100 is perfectly adequate, but the departure angle is horrid... especially with a receiver hitch. It also moves the spare out from underneath to make sure it remains undamaged. Offroad, I drag my ass everywhere but have no issues with hitting things with the front bumper.

Sure would be nice to mount that shiny new Titan winch from the group buy though! TJM has now pushed the US arrival of 2011 T13's from 'January' to 'February'...

ya good point, a winch is good insurance. I'm looking forward for those T13s to getting here.

Did they swim it over from australia?:grinpimp:

Sounds like they sold out of the 2011 Outback style and had to produce a batch which is being put on a container now.

Too bad they can't license the product to a local fabricator. You'd think it would be a win/win with the cost of shipping and product support.

I'm going to give Mike a call and see about fabricating a front bumper without the tubing on top. Maybe if I buy some sliders too he'll offer me a discount!

Have you priced the competition? His prices are already a discount. Let him make some money so he keeps doing it.

I doubt he'll quit building due to offering a discount to a customer who bought 2 bumpers and sliders from him instead of another vendor.

Rear ships out tomorrow! Should be installing next weekend!

Got mine all hooked up in about 6-7 hours, with help from my old man. We wasted 2-3 hours trying to fix the captive nuts inside the frame rails for the bumper wing brackets. For some reason they're not welded in place and got all crooked :o Hopefully you don't have the same problem.

A bumper with tire carrier and one swing out:

Slee 2485
bumpy 1650

And you demand an additional 165 bucks off that for also buying sliders that are already 120 bucks cheaper themselves or you"ll go to the "other" vendor.

PFFFFT... What a joke.

I'd tell you to go pound salt. Seriously, thats just rude.

The best test for a good buyer is, "knowing when you have a good deal". Trying to get the last $ is always a mistake. Someone gets POed, deal over resulting in ruined chances of making any deal.

Who said I was "demanding" anything? Nor am I threatening to go to another vendor if there is no discount.

What kind of lift do you have on your high horse?

We are not talking about buying lemonade from a 5 year old's stand. Mike at BIOR is a big boy, he is quite capable of saying no if he doesn't want to give a discount. I see nothing rude about asking.

It never hurts to ask.

What's the worst that could happen... he tells you to :flipoff2:, and you pay what he is asking or you can go elsewhere with your $$ if you're not happy.

I took the factory hitch off last summer so I know those nuts are good and solid. I even put the bolts back in to prevent the threads from getting buggered so hopefully I'm good!

I sent Mike a list of almost everything I want for my bumper. Sounds like he is starting on them very soon... Still not sure what if anything I want to add to the second swing out. Anyone done a cooler basket from BIO? If so what size cooler and please post a picture. I have a collection of white marine coolers in all sizes and was thinking a cooler basket might be a good option. Then again I guess a ladder could be used to attach different accessories as well like some have done with the rotopax products. Any other suggestions for swing out attachments?
