So a '69/'70 tank will fit in my '64?

I don't see any reason why not. You might have to change the gauge on the dash to match the sending unit. I know the very early sending unit was a different size. Not sure when the size opening changed. I know the 73 thr 78 OEM tank can still be bought new. How about the 64 thr 72? I've never checked. My 68's OEM tank is still in great shape. One of the few good things about living in a desert
