Need 80 knuckle - (1 Viewer)

Hey,

Anyone have a PS 80 series ABS knuckle? Lee got his caliper bolt cross-threaded doing a brake job yesterday

I did this a few years ago, and salvaged it using a helicoil.

Na - I just knew he was looking so I posted up. Helicoils cost as much as buying a used knuckle

The 80 was down for less than a week while I waited for a caliper.

It's driveable now. I drove it all over town today. Stops on a dime with 100 series pads. Just not safe at speed IMO.

Helicoil costs a lot more than a knuckle, plus I don't trust it in that location. Too critical.

I didn't know Tucker was posting this inquiry to LSLC, but I appreciate it. I posted in the MUD parts wanted forum. Thought maybe someone might bring a knuckle to Katemcy if they knew I was looking.

Mark, if you think you can source one closer and cheaper than Colorado, then let me know where from, and how much.

I've heard from two MUD sellers, and they want $100-$150 for a PS knuckle. cruiserparts.net sells them for $75.
