2F engine at BeepBeep

You may want to call BeepBeep Foreign parts. They have an 86 FJ60 with an engine that had a hole in the oil pan. They may be willing to part the top end stuff, since they cannot test the engine without replacing the pan.

If not, check with Tim in Marana and see if he has any 2F's floating around. They used in both the 40 and 60's, so should be fairly common.

Take it to a good machine shop and have it TIG welded. I had the same issue with my intake and took it to the Machine Works in Tucson and it has been fine for over 7 years. Of course, I got rid of the factory exhaust manifold with that piece of crap heat riser that got stuck which was the source of the cracked intake. If that does not work for you, you can contact Tim Hill in Avra Valley. Last time I was at his place he had at least 30 F/2F intake manifolds laying in a pile on his property. Cell 520-240-3757

Once you find a replacement, you might want drill out the flapper plate in the exhaust manifold and remove it. Then get the separator plate from $OR that will prevent recurrence. It'll give you some long term piece of mind.
