Wanted Need 2f Engine

I have a 78 FJ40 that has thrown a rod, does anyone have a rebuilt 2f engine? Would you recommend that i go to a Fuel Injected motor since i am going to replace the motor?

I don't have a rebuilt one but I do have a complete 2F sitting in my garage that came out of a runner that got wrecked.

I have 2 2f engines that run..one is 85 the other is 83. 83 has been resealed & had complete head job done to it. I'm in Indiana PM me if I can help.

I just pulled a 2F out of a 1986-FJ60. Available COMPLETE as pictured. Approx 175K miles, good compression, driven back from TX (cruised well, NO oil consumption) in winter 2006/7 and stored since. Compression at 145 to 155 across the board.

I can transport into US (Western North Dakota) for shipping to US destination.

I have a great running engine in my 91 fj-80 It was 215k
so you might want to have it freshened up.
$500 ? Its still not the truck and runs great. Does not pass emmissions for Denver.
