Looking for a a shop or a mechanic who can replace the following on my LX470 in the Greater Nashville area:

Accumulator Globes (4)
Shocks (4)
AHC Fluid
AHC Seals

I ordered all the Parts on the Bay (OEM), and I am looking to find either a shop or someone who will take on the job that has a good balance between reliability & fair priced. I was curious if anyone had any recommendations in the Nashville area or in the surrounding areas for someone that could take on the job. Open to any recommendations in Clarksville, Bowling Green, Western KY, Columbia TN, etc...

Any feedback would be appreciated - most shops that focus onLX/LC around here are pricy and will not yet you bring your own parts making it a challenge.

Thanks!

Just some food for thought here to try and continue to educate folks on AHC…

The “shocks” rarely need replacing. Rust is about the only reason to since they are hydraulic rams.

Is your system rusty? What is leaking and where?

Are you for certain your eBay parts are truly OEM?

Happy to read that you are retaining theAHC system. When I first read the title I assumed by "replacement" you were intending
on deleting it.

Appreciate the continuing education, I am a rookie.

Context: My LX470, ~180k miles, rides like a bouncy house. I took it to the trusted LX/LC shop ($$$) in town for a full vehicle inspection. Related to the suspension, the adjectives they used were "bouncy" & "leaking", but not "rusty".

They determined what I had expected that the Accumulators had failed, and also we had leakage which is vague on the quote. From what I have read, the leaks I believe it would be from the shocks as a result of the failed accumulators.

For the full repair job they offered on the Suspension, the Parts were limited to the Shocks, accumulators & AHC Fluid so I think the hoses were still in tact. They did mention the Control Arm Bushings were torn + cracking though, but just to monitor it. That was next on list.

Rust:
Rust was not mentioned on this part of the inspection, the only rust they called out was spreading rust on the Cat Con/exhuast which was also going to be the next on the list..

Ebay: LINK
I linked the parts I ordered above, the seller had positive reviews and given it was coming directly from Japan, it seemed like a reasonable purchase.

Also a few other DIY videos I watched on YT with the replacing the accumulators mentioned also replacing the shocks at the same time, so all things, for my limited knowledge, checked off.

Looks legit. However, I believe there has been some recent discussions regarding shipping issues of the globes.

Ah - tried to do a quick search and didn't find anything..High level, are they getting delayed from making it to the destination (as scheduled) or not making to the destination at all? Assuming some type of inspection by customs is holding it up or preventing it without knowing anything else.

It's in the Impex globes thread. Seems hit or miss these days with suppliers getting through customs.
