Hi all,

I am having a restomod finished up right now on my '97 40th Anniv FJ80, and replaced the factory wheel with a wooden Nardi one. Pleased with the way it looks, but now trying to figure out what to do about the cruise control. I have the stem from the old wheel, and could try to attach it somewhere I suppose, but having trouble figuring out where. Also considered two 2-way switches in the dash (on/off + resume, and set/accel + decel).

Anyone else done anything like this/have any suggestions?

Thanks!

On the '95+, is the cruise control stem mounted to the wheel itself and fed through the clock spring?

Up to '94, I believe it mounts to the turn signal switch assembly. Maybe you can adapt one from an earlier model.
