Upon cleaning up my knuckles after diassembly I ran across what looks like an aftermarket part in place of the bottom bearing cap on each knuckle. Hard to tell by the pictures but the male part is slightly off-center when cpmpared to the bolt holes. Looks like it can be mounted in one of two positions noted by the stamped words POSITIVE and NEGATIVE on the part. Since everything was caked up before removal I do not know how it needs to go back on but my guess is with positive camber......I have a stock suspension. Does anyone know the source of this part and/or anything about it? IMG-20120220-00304 (2) (640x480).jpg

Never seen one but that sure is what it looks like. Couldn't tell you which way it needs to go unless your axle is bent.

seen them a few times. other then a bent housing there's no reason to run them.
