New to the forum. New to the Brits, so ignorant on them. I'm helping my son with a 1993 110 build. He is thinking going with the BMW n54 & the 8HP45 trans. Me personally, no fan of BMW due to $$$. Reading on here with some of the n45 engines, sounds like issues. I'd rather do a 6.0 LS engine due to simplicity & cost for the HP and parts availability. Transmission & transfer case not yet decided. Anything you more knowledgeable gear heads can add do my confusion, the better
