Mystery Cruise Control

Well I guess I got you all speechless!

I'm still puzzled. In my '86 FJ60 I have a (non working) cruise control.

How does it/would it work? How does it control the carb acceleration?
Brake interrupt?

It's a mystery to me like the module I found in the interior
with a faded label " Manual transmission electronic servo". (picture attached)

Has anyone an idea?

I am also looking for information about this Electronic Servo Module for a manual transmission. I found it this morning and it is clearly not functioning. Is this standard in FJ60’s or an add on? Do I need it?
