just a quick note about my first trailer build

here are some of the requirements

- build time 2 months
- sleep two adults on full size regular mattress and two kids on bunks
- some offroad capabilities
- quiet when we sleep ,tired of flapping tent side in winds
- full kitchen set-up

Frame

frame was built with 2x2 .120 stock all way around
axle and leaf #3500 lb with 5 x5.5 hubs
31" jeep cherokee wheels (gota love craigslist $200 for three)
undercoated

Body

framed with 1x3 kreg screwed and glued
skinned both sides with 1/4 luan ply
3/4 solid foam insulation sandwiched
interior finished with low cut carpet to attach misc. items with velcro(lites, dvd, etc.)
exterior bondo fill and fair
one coat resin as bonding layer
one coat 6 once fiberglass cloth
one coat final coat resin
paint to finish
sew side curtains for pop up

not completly done but I would say 90%
finished 1200 mile road trip with no problems

You can only upload 3 at a time through the forum tool, but if you have them uploaded to a webpage somewhere, you can embed them using the
 
Yup. That's some craftsmanship right there. One problem though, I think your caps lock key is stuck :flipoff2:

I agree!!....Great job on the whole build!!!

I was a bit confused in the beginning if you built this or that's what you were looking for in a build..it's clear as day now :doh:
