Vic (Vorfab) did take templates of the lower section of the bumper. Originally he was planning on making 3 with similar bottoms. Exiled's and mine differ in tube work and the light placement. But the bases are the same. Exiled's also has CB antenna and light mounts on top tubes whereas mine does not. Mine actually isn't finished. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to take it out to him finish it. He's going to add a lower tube running along the lower grill line to mount light tabs to. I want to maintain the access to the winch so it will be swept back from the front of the vehicle.
The things I don't like about the Slee rear are really minor. I can't stand having the tire mounted in the center. I'd rather have two small swingouts rather than the one large one. I would prefer if there is just one to have it mount on the DS. It provides better blind spot visibility having the spare on the DS. However, with the 100 taillights in the tailgate this is sort of hard to do without blocking the taillights. I wish it didn't have the taillights in the tailgate at all. I looked into getting a tailgate from a non-US application but it was over $1000 plus overseas shipping and it had a goofy license plate bracket on the DS. Vic uses a strut to open and close the swingout. I like this as you don't have to go over to the spindle to release it when you want to open it or close it. His hi-lift uses pines to locate it and then a rubber isolated bolt with a wing nut and a padlock to secure it. It is really convenient and secure. There is a difference between doing one off fabrication and production fabrication. When you do a one off you can get exactly what you want.
