I don't know, did you see the note he wrote on the window from his cruiser to himself?

yea, that was some motivation from a friend of mine. she was feeling sorry for the cruiser and left me a reminder. not there anymore. :bounce::flipoff2:

How many KTMs do you own?

I've only got one and a Honda that I've got to pay for when I sell a cruiser.

Nice I love the looks of 37 on cruiser fits the it just tad better than 35 with the 80s! I'm jealous, I told the wife look he gets to have 3!:flipoff2:

I don't have to worry about the wife thing right now. probably not for some time. school and military career will prevent that happening any time soon.

no stranger to wheel weights, are we?

nope, the 35's were no fun to balance. big tires on little wheels. oh well. time for tire beads or air soft pellets.

Have you enjoyed the Panhandle "red rain" yet?

I went to Tech. Lubbock was on of the most enjoyable places I have lived, course I was in school and may have had something to do with cheap bear by showing a college ID. :grinpimp:

I moved to Lubbock, TX from Colorado Springs, CO QUOTE]

So sorry to hear that, man! I grew-up in the Springs (it's 86 degrees there today with a chance of rain)...been in Dallas (it's 1000 degrees here today) for 13 years...love Texas, not a big fan of these summers though!

Yea I'm at Texas Tech also, though I feel like I will never be done with school at this rate. The "Red Rain" came through recently and now I have to wash two of the three rigs. Only problem is that it is about 27degrees outside right now. I rinsed the dark one off and the water froze to it, so I figured today was not a good day for that. Texas has found a very special place in my heart, I am proud to say that I am a Texan now even though not by birth. But I have many good memories up in Colorado still.

You got one maroon too many. I'll take the '94 if you decide to sell one of them. :D

ktmracer01 out of the 3 wich rig do you perfer and why?i ask because not many have the veriety of tires, lifts, engines and so on, so it would be interesting to here what you like best and do not like.

purty cruisers, I cant help but stare at your Halo'd black cruiser. Im curios how my 80 would look with fresh black paint and some bling halo lights. Maybe I can borrow some broken headlights from someone so i can convince my wife I need new ones..

Nice line up!

Right now the '94 will prob be the last one I get rid of, but I'll keep it in mind if I do!

The dark gun metal grey one "Dixie II" is my daily driver. I try to drive all three but it holds a special place in my heart for some reason. It has a 3FE and has just enough power to get me around with no issues in town, mild road trips, and some good 'ol fashioned wheeling.

The '94 " Dixie IV" is by far my favorite. It was bought brand new by my parents back in 1994 with 7 miles on the odometer. I've spent many hours in the 3rd row seats on road trips from Mexico City D.F. to Wisconsin, WI several times, all over south and central America, and back to the U.S.A. If I am making a road trip, this is usually the rig that goes. It has the 1FZE with power to get me into the mountains of CO where I moved here to Lubbock, TX from. It's usually just more comfortable on longer road trips.

The big red Cruiser "Dixie III" I've driven quite a bit too and from work ( 5 miles) up the road. It does very well with the lift and tires, even more so now that I have de-smogged it. That in itself was a great investment. But otherwise it hasn't even been on a trail yet. :crybaby: I'm trying to get everything done on it before I start trying to show it off. I just put new u-joints in the front drive shaft, going to install it to see how bad the vibrations are going to be, then I'll decide if I want to pull a CV shaft out of a parts 1992 4Runner I have and CV DS made for the cruiser with it or iff I want to pull the front axle out and turn the knuckles? All in due time though. All in due time. All it need now are sliders, finish the rear bumper, and two window regulators for D/F and D/R windows, and some misc plastic pieces in the dash, with a CD player and a CB radio.:beer::beer: Once all that is done, shoot some paint and prob send her off to a good home. :crybaby:

At least the 80s are high enough to plow over all the tumbleweeds there... maybe. :D

Those 4runner wheels are very nice!!
Are you using any spacers?

I sure am. Had to in order to get the wheels to clear the rear frame rails. I'm either using a 1.25" or a 1.5" wheel spacer.
I don't know, I'll have to measure them tomorrow. I doubt I have the original receipt to reference.

you're not kidding about the tumble weeds. The wind picked up here to approx. 50mph and blew several between my house and the neighbor, stack got so high it started to blow over the fence and into the back yard. my Great Dane didn't know what to think when the first couple came over the fence.

Craziest thing ever! I usually stick to the 60 series threads but I was up unusually early this morning and said what the hay lets see what these 80's cats are up to. I saw your rigs and thought "hey I've seen these before" I live in Lubbock also and work for Carpet tech I pass by your house all the time and think man those Cruisers are Bad***. I drive a Grey 62. Just thought that was crazy. If you ever need any carpet or upholstery cleaning in the house or on one of those beasts holler at me. Jeremy Ham at Carpet Tech.

Nice! I've seen your FJ62 around town also! If you ever drive by and see the garage open, feel free to stop by! I work at the Toyota Stealership up the road.

96cruiser:

The 35's fit great! I love this tire and wheel combo. the proportions seem to match the truck better. I did measure the spacers. they are 1.25" I just put them on the dark righ yesterday. I'll put up some photos and you'll have to tell me how it looks.
