It won't retract itself, so it always gets shut in the door. The buckle part on the belt, that has the 2 slots that belt goes through got broke at some point so it sticks me in the gutt. I took the windy thingy out and checked it out for a while. Looks like a real puzzle to put back together if i take it apart. I need to get the end of the belt out of the spool so i can put a new buckle on it. I took the 2 screws out of the side, on the white plastic with the spring inside that says Caution Do NOt Remove and spun it carefully to put more tention on the winding mechanism. Has anyone successfully taken the whole thing apart?
