So I couldn't make it on the tobacco roots trail ride so I drive out to Maudlow and then down 16 mile road to Ringling MT. Nothing hard obviously but being it had just rained there was some dang slippery mud, and for my AT3s that are half or less than half tread, it was an adventure to keep moving and stay on the road at times hehehe. I took a couple of pictures of my 4runner after going though Maudlow and onto 16 mi road. This was in the middle of two patches of really slippery mud and the only place I could actually stop without being stuck! Later down 16mi closer to Ringling there is a lot more clay in the road and that was a bear to wash off. Took 45min in the carwash bay to get the visible mud off. Still mud under the truck and in the wheel wells but I got the majority of it chiseled out. I am not too much into mudding and stuff now but it is fun to go slide around a bit once or twice a year. Technical driving is much more my cup of tea now, and I don't have to clean off all that mud! Anyways here are the pictures, my 4runner was tan when we got into Ringling and my licence plate was unreadable there so these pictures are about half of how muddy it got!
