rally vs elite

I think the vertical stitching on the seat gives the rally a more classic look. Look at both vs OEM

Plus the rally is a little shorter giving better view to the rear I think a lot of the modern seats look too tall compared to the OEMs

Widths are equal I think

Mostly looks

Pics of the elite below

newly covered OEM buckets wouldve been ideal but too much$$$ by the time you bought the seat, foam, and cover

Dang nice looking! Did I find the correct price - $300 each?

yup

yup 300 bucks

I did see them cheaper for 279 later but Summit takes Paypal so that is an advantage

Well - like your sig line implies, you get what you pay for - and they look great.

Let us know what you think about waterproofing - knowing that these may sit inside a bit longer. My goal is to someday upgrade to a seat that can handle the fact that I like to run with just a bikini top with no doors, windshield or other protection - and man, when it gets wet - it get wet!

I really like the look of those with the vertical stitching. It does give it a more classic look. You have inspired me to rethink the seats I was going to go with for my build up.

weather proofing

They are vinyl but I think if they got really wet like water puddling in the seats it would soak through the stitching into the foam and take a while to dry out. If I wanted to waterproof them I would probably go with some of those neopreme covers.

I'll have a soft top on probably just roll up the sides usually

X2 how are they holding uP?
Any issues? Did you end up with seat covers?

seats

I am still looking forward to mounting them--first came the 2F and tranny now I am away for a month but they will be going in as soon as I get back along with my paki..soft top!

I'll post up once they are installed all the way, I didnt even get to really look at the seat adapters they will mount to cause I had to stuff the engine before I left for my trip!

10-04 hope your trip is going well!
Look forward to your continued write up.
