I work at a hospital and we are replacing some old doors so I snagged a fire rated door that was destined for the trash. These doors are rated to not burn for at least 90 minutes. Needless to say this sucker was HEAVY!!!

A couple of 2x4's for the frame, 4x4's for the legs, a fire door for the top and wala! New work Bench. Plus it gave me an excuse to purchase a new circular saw!!

I left the bottom open so I could put my daughters cars, spare tire (will be building a rear carrier soon, and my air compressor underneath. No more working on the garage floor!!!

Here are a couple of pictures!

She loves being in the garage! I'll make her a cruiser monkey yet!!! :D

So thats why she is so happy, she is sitting above her project vehicles.:)
Now to find out what mod's she has in mind? bigger tires with a mudder design? The stroller could be on her list as well.

She better choose her mods carefully , or her vehicles wont fit into their new "garage" :D

Yeah she wants sliders and a slee front bumper for her "cruiser" :) shes not asking for a lift yet!

Dude,

Nice table, but you need a 1/4" hole pegboard, 3ft high spanning the length of the workbench with a 12" shelf on top. You can really store so much more that what you have there now.

PS nice welder
