Just picked up this '94 80 series yesterday. It drives great! I have a short list of maintenance I'd like to do to start. The rear passenger wheel bearing needs attention, the transfer case has a minor leak, which I knew when I agreed to buy it. I need to get the rear driver side door panel back on. The PO was working on the window last.
The pre-purchase inspection showed a leak at the yoke seal, the transfer case leak is at the speedometer cable connection point. Rear bushings are toast/new shocks, but I can address that all at once with a lift kit. I also have the original MAF which I'm going to look into getting rebuilt.
Today I spent some time vacuuming the entire rig to remove dog hair from PO. Also did a little interior detail cleaning to remove old dust and and grim from the plastics. It'll get a proper detail later this week.
I'd like to get new seatbelts in it and a new carpet kit would be a big improvement for the interior. It would be nice to get under the seats and really get it clean. I have the jump seats for the back too, but I may remove the bolts/mount back there for ithem, I kind of like the space in the back.
I even have the original stereo
