What's that lever on the dash? Looks like an e-brake of some kind but it has the regular type e-brake under the dash, unless my peepers deceive me.

that's the vacuum actuated transfer engage lever, fwiw.

Ahh, I kinda thought it might have been. I used to have a '69 fj40 with vacuum shift, but it was all knobs off the dash.
*sniff* I miss that old beast.

yeah she is bone stock, complete stock with all the knobs and hadles intact and working, we hooked up the batt and most of the lights worked, windows crank smoothly

was spring green once..........great color, kinda dig the funky hippy camo job

dash was repainted, few extra reflectors added(tailgate)

the bed stuff is cool, no factory but cool, like the seat in the bed, good thinking(would rid there myself though)

i got ready to take Will to school this morning and the first thing out of his mouth was "lets take the 45" , today will be the day to really get onto the truck , some clean up and see if i cant get the motor up and running it looks like i just need to get the linkage hooked back up anyway i will get more pics today and keep sharing , thanks everyone for your support

cleaned out the carb, changes the oil and if the brakes were working i would be cruisen right now, and yes Will scored major points!!!!! guess i raised him right he spotted this from the street on his bike i tried to download a short video but it wont work

yea rob the orginal carb worked after some heavy cleaning, and no its not will's truck he has his own cruiser to work on. but i did promise him i would go down tommorow and talk to a lawyer and change my will ,( but dont expect me to die anytime soon,) you guys are really making this a great experance everyone else outside of mud that has come by my house whats to know why i bought the old truck with the crappy paint job? if they only knew. thanks for your support
