Left hand drive stick shift 80 series less than 10 years old. *drool*
We need someone in Venezuela to sell us parts we can't buy from the dealers here.
Heck, I'd even like a set of the Autana decals to put on my truck just to screw with people. What does 'Autana' translate to anyway?
The last year when Toyota Venezuela built the 80 series was 2007. We love that model and 70 series too. Both are so popular in our countryI am jealous. Everything about that truck is cool, most especialy the fact that its a '99. I noticed that only within the last couple of months has Toyota Venezuela taken the 80 Series webpage down.
Here is some ancient history on importing them, including the DOT/NHTSA ruling on the non-USA 80 Series Good news for those able to Import and 80!
I seen some of these Venezuelan 80's here in Panama and also in Nicaragua. Personally with all the mud wheeling down here I would want a v8 in it, 400hp would do it!
I seen a 105 recently here in Panama, man I would love to have that!!
Cheers
Sure thing .. most of guys down here want one or have one V8 .. there are just a few of us still going everywhere along with those V8 with a 60 HP diesel ..
Sadly all of those 105 you saw down here are 1HZ powered .. so underpowered ..
Wish we had got a chance to hook up bro, I didn't come to the city this time. Maybe next trip which will likely be sooner rather than later.
Cheers
This thread is leaving everyone speechless! Great pics and cool stories!!
So you not in Venezuela you in Panama? Wondering how the current unrest would have affected the importation sale etc and just getting gas in the thing
