Just picked up this 2004 LC with 26k miles. I bought it from the original owners son out of California. It was garaged and all service records from day one came with it. It seems to be bone stock and super clean.

I want to turn this into a weekend camping vehicle to take out with my family. Nothing to serious, trips to Colorado or Minnesota......hopefully.

I plan on...

Remove the running boards
Powder coating the factory wheels a little darker gray
285/75/18 BF Goodrich TA KO
Roof Rack (labrak or bajarack?)
Fox awning

*Maybe*Roof top tent (I have 3 daughters plus the wife and that may be the only way to get them to go camping)
*Maybe* ARB front bumper and a SLEE rear bumper

great looking rig, super low miles... here's my 100 series when I bought it and took the running boards off and painted up the rims...

Gotta ask. What's the going rate for a 2004 LC100 with 26K miles? That looks like a spectacular find. My rig is dark purple. As far as I'm concerned, white is the best color on this trucks. Congrats!

Nice find. Would love to find something like that for Mrs. OregonLC.

That's what I was thinking as well. I do have a perfect set of 16's at my office I may powder coat and leave the 18's alone.....

Better yet, sell me those perfect 16's and use that money to fund the "darkening" of the 18's. I am considering the same. Not black as so many others have done. Just a dark tinted metallic to better match the bumper and trim.

"Upper 20's" sounds like a great deal for an 04 with 24K miles.

Congrats on the purchase! Don't seem them with that few miles very often....

Congrats, what a low mileage vehicle.
Black out the wheels!! :)

I turned my 2000 into the perfect camping rig for me. More overland than trail rig. Our rigs are very capable. Enjoy years of outdoor adventures...

That's the way mine looked when I got it... Now a bit different, everyone has their own great ideas.

Dropped off some factory 16's to be powder coated gray. Ordered some 285/75/16 BFGoodrich TA KO's.

Making progress....

If you don't mind me asking, how much is the powder coating going to cost you per rim? I'm looking at coloring my rims somehow.

I love finding low mileage LC/LX's. I couldn't decide between white and black exterior colors. White looks more classy but my dad always is telling me how he feels white cars are for ladies. Somehow my eyes seem to catch the white ones more. Is there more than one white exterior for LX470?

White is a great color for hiding pinstripes and other trail scuffs.
