Spent the last month away adventuring, good timing too as the next few days after I left home it was literally the hottest town on earth at the time haha. Went down south where it's a bit cooler, and apparently there's supposed to be fish although I couldn't seem to find them haha

Had a bit of fun last night, went on a night run with a few mates in the sand dunes.
Spent the whole time just driving up everything, the spring-over hilux I was with struggled a bit but I can't complain too much because he pulled me out of a ditch, slid down onto my right side into a shrub trying to get up the biggest one haha.
Smashed my new tail light too

Point Elizabeth, just south of moonta. Your not allowed into the actual dunes but you can still drive on the tracks through them
The ones above that I was on kangaroo island, there's not many tracks over there because it's been touristised too much

Been on a few trips lately, I've nearly clocked up 10,000km since Christmas. Went on a small drive the weekend before Easter and did around 2500km in three days. Had a bit of a look around down south and came home, I love sand and so does my 60 so I took it through little dip conservation park and the showed up almost everything else with the sheer power of the 2h. Drove past a lifted pootrol on 37s struggling in the softest sand I've ever come across and he was surprised that I was just driving through on my 20psi 31s with ease, infact my economy picked up that day with 11l/100 haha. I've also got some new...er shoes on it now 33x12.5 bfg mts and it goes absolutely awesome in the sand on 10-12psi and I swear it's actually more powerful now haha

Thanks MrP, it was well worth it

I splurged on Saturday and bought some new , yes brand new tires. The newer but still 10year old bfgs decided to spit there lugs off during the week, and now it's rocking some 33x12.5 ko2s. It's good to actually have tread haha, and although there not muddies I chose the a/ts due to the fact that I do almost all my off roading on sand or rocks because it doesn't rain much here unless it's the day after I fit new tyres

been pretty busy lately, i did a swivel hub rebuild in June and threw a air locker and new cvs in at the same time, also did the clutch and tie rod ends at the same time.

then i took it on a bit of an adventure to a "local" 4x4 park thats about 5 hours away. was pretty fun sharing it with an army training exercise and testing the limits of my current setup (thick clay mud upto the sidesteps apparently haha) the locker makes a huge difference, it just walks up things that took huge wheelspin/runups before

put the old beast to work a few times as well towing to the sand dunes, not to drive the 60 though for some reason
