Dag (or anyone else for that matter):

Are the coil springs from the factory? Mine has a similar looking puck on the axle and frame, but some sort of rubber stacked in there. I was just assuming that it was some Honduran inventiveness, but could it be something that's factory or a common aftermarket modification?

Dan
The coil springs are modified for the equipment that was there before. It was quiet heavy stuff as u can see.

Now i have done a little work.
I have removed the roof......, but I will do more as soon as possible.
As you can see its a little rust underneath the frame, but its easy to fix.
I have got in touch with a man in Sweden about a new roof, and I will pick it up during the summer.
More will come later.

Since i havent been in here for a very long time, its on time to update a little.
My 1975 HJ45 is replaced with a newer 1980 HJ45 from Finland.
It have power steering and disk brakes in front, I think they come from a HJ60.
The engine in my car is from a HJ60 its a H2 4.0 litre 6 cylinder diesel engine about 105ps i think, but i like to put on a turbo later.
Now the car is stored in a barn at my friends farm, but im just about to put up a new garage 70m2, and hope the garage will be finish later this summer.

Much have been done with my truck since last time I wrote here I can see 🤔
The truck has been in Poland and got painted and many other things have been done. I have made exhausting in acid-proof 2,1/4” pipe, so it would last forever for me I guess😄
Many adjustments have been made on the truck. The wheels have been blasted and powder coated with a grey color that suit the truck I think.
In Europe we have 16” as original Wheel size. And my registration papers tells size Imperial 7.50-16 in metric equivalent only numbers not a real numbers 190/100-16, the nearest will be 235/85-16.
But I like to have it original, but I have also a set of 17” wheels I like to have for show off and thinking of 305/65-70-17, those wheels are original ment for J9/J12 trucks, but they fit my truck and my front fenders are composite and a little wider than original so they will be inside of the fenders. But rear it might be a little problem. This Friday July 9 I got it registered, and I’m very happy 😃 for this. Trough those year’s since I bought it I have been fed up many times. Now I’m super happy to have my truck registered and can take it out for running whenever I like to 😃
Our Norwegian Land Cruiser Club have a Happening coming up in the first of august and since it’s few HJ45 trucks in Norway I’m a little proud to show up with my truck. It will be tech talking, some wine and beers and off course off-roading as well.
This summer will be nice I think.
