I own a 2010 Green that just broke 100K miles today.

Just for kicks I went on cars.com to see how many 2010s there are for sale, and unless I am mistaken, there are 5 in the entire US for sale that are 2010s.

I used to have a Ferrari 348, and there were always more 348s for sale than that!

This phenomenon must be great news for resale value!

VERY few amazon green cruisers made. most are black/grey/white.

low mileage green 200= unicorn

Where does a low mileage gold 200 series fit into that? Unicorn?

Anyone have a guesstimate on the market value of a Silver 2015 w/33k miles. Would expect market to be a touch higher than B.B./Edmunds/Nada.

Actually, I see a lot of gold LCs for sale.

The unicorns are definitely green...and despite large numbers being produced, magnetic grey is harder to find that expected.

A friend of mine who is in the car leasing industry said that right now the used car market in general is very soft, which is driving residual values down, which is driving lease rates up.

2010 was the big tsunami. But LC's are pretty rare. I have been debating about a second LC or an LX and check for one every soo often.

Gold really makes them look like highlanders.....sigh

Good used 200's not located in the salt belt is a hot market right now. I was watching the car sites, Ebay and this forum daily from December to February and in that time I met several mudders that were shopping the same circles not to mention the unknowns buying them before I could jump on a plane or head out to get one. Green and the light Blue color was a rare sight I never ran across a green one and I tried jumping on a Blue one in San Antonio and missed it by a day or two. My preference was the Grey but was more tuned to the condition and how it was maintained rather than color. The market I mention that was hot was the 100 - 130K mile range priced 30 - 35K. The least desired color seemed to be the Salsa Red which just so happens to be the color I ended up with. Its growing on me :D My market analyst in that time period l was looking.

So those are just for highway use? What about the ones where you can drive on the streets?

so, you're saying there's 3500 2106s out there that will be on the used market in a couple years.......:hmm:

want that blue with terra interior :greedy:

I spent 3-4 months searching before I found my 2009 LC. I had to drive 8 hours each way to pick up, and wasted many hours on other deals before finding the right one. As mentioned, when you filter out rust belt, certain colors, and accidents, it's pretty slim pickings considering there are so few to begin with. I also scrubbed the service history, which brought to life some major items that didn't show up in the carfax. Congrats on the cool color!

I have always found the 200 market interesting. As seen above there is never very many imported to the US in any given year.

Far less then some of the specialty limited production cars that some of the domestic manufactures come out with, of which typically bring thousands over MSRP like Raptors, Shelby Mustangs, etc.

However as for the 200 there is seldom a problem finding a decent $5k-10k off sticker deal on a new 200, no huge over sticker premium on 200s even though they are more rare then the other vehicles.

I have notice the 200 market also varies a lot on part of the country your in. The last used 2011 I bought and later sold, I paid $48K for it 2 years later after driving it 25K miles wholesaled it to dealer for a little over $40K that dealer sent to auction in Texas where I saw it brought about 43K it ended up back east I think it was Kentucky at a used car lot for sale for $48K again. They are vastly more popular in certain areas of the country then they are in other area's. My local dealer here in KS seldom has more then one on the lot, I bought my 2018 from a dealer in AR that had at least 6 on the lot.

I think a lot of it come down to lack of marketing from Toyota in US, and general consumer lack of understanding of what they are and why they cost so much.
