I was hoping someone could help me out with a few things. I just bought a 1993 fjz80 with 143000kms on the clock. I'm wanting to change all the fluids out and wondering what you guys are having best results with? Synthetic, conventional, additives and so on.

Congrat!! Welcome to the cruiser addiction. Synthetic throughout on mine including wheel bearing and knuckle grease.

Oil Preference is a matter of preferance.
I use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 75W-90 in the Diffs
Timkin Bearing Grease in Bearings
Valvoline Pallidium in Knuckles
Toyota Red for Coolant
Wal-Mart Full Synthetic Tranny Fluid (Maybe Havoline Brand)
Power Steering is ATF full Synthetic I believe.

Also, here's what I use:

Engine oil: Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w 40
Transmission: Mobil 1 Synthetic
Transfer Case AND Diffs: Amsoil Severe Gear
Bearings: Mobil 1 Synthetic
Birfs: Valvoline Palladium
Coolant: Toyota Red

Good luck and welcome!

Welcome. IMO the brand is not as important as changing fluids more often. I use napa gear oil in diffs, tcase but i change diffs every 5k miles or so and tcase once yr. at like 6kish miles
